Title: " FINANCIAL LITERACY AND RETIREMENT PLANNING: IMPLICATIONS FOR THE FINANCIAL
MARKETPLACE AND POLICY "
ABSTRACT:
Recent research suggests that levels of financial literacy are woefully low around the
world. Professor Mitchell evaluates a number of surveys about workers' financial

concludes with an assessment of "what works" to enhance financial literacy.
