Submission & Registration

VCMF 2025 uses ConfTool, a conference management software, to handle submissions and registrations.

Please first create a new ConfTool user account.
Then you can proceed with a submission or with your registration.

Submission of Contributed Talks & Posters

The call for contributed talks & posters is open until February 28, 2025.
The call for contributed talks & posters is extended until Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Acceptance/rejection letters will be sent until April 15, 2025 at the latest.

For sending the decisions in time we would be happy if you submit your abstract as soon as possible.
Submissions can be updated/edited until the submission deadline.
Please consider that time measurements refer to Central European Time (UTC+1).

Registration

Early registration is possible until April 30, 2025.
Standard registration is possible until June 15, 2025.

VCMF 2025 Early Registration

(*) full time staff of universities and research institutions

Lunch on all 3 days of the VCMF 2025 Conference is included for all participants.

All Participants are invited to the Welcome Reception on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 as well as to the Conference Dinner on Thursday, July 10, 2025.

CPD - Continuing Professional Development

VCMF 2025 is accredeted by the Actuarial Association of Austria (AVÖ) - actuaries of AVÖ can earn up to 17 CPD credits.

AVÖ will recognise 1 CPD credit for each sixty (60) minutes of active participation at talks (excluding panel discussion, lunches, breaks, social events).

Delegates of other actuarial associations are advised to discuss recognition of this conference for CPD with their corresponding national organisation.

In order to ensure compliance with regulations of the national actuarial organisations we will ask for signatures.

Visa Requirements

Austria is part ot the European Union and part of the Schengen Area. EU nationals do not require a visa to enter Austria - for all other citizens we refer to the following webpages:

When creating a new user account within the conference management ConfTool you can indicate if you require a visa invitation letter. In case you need a visa invitation letter we ask to fill in as much information as you can: (1) Nationality, (2) Day of Birth, (3) Passport No., (4) Passport Issue Place, (5) Passport Issue Date, (6) Passport Expiry Date, (7) Planned Date of Arrival, (8) Planned Date of Departure, (9) Details of Embassy. You can update this information when editing your user account details.

Visa invitation letters will be sent after registration and payment of the registration fee. Organizer of VCMF 2025 reserves the right to decide if the invitation letter is issued or not.
