Actuarial Association of Austria (AVÖ - Aktuarvereinigung Österreichs)
The Actuarial Association of Austria (AVÖ) is the association of actuaries in Austria. The Society was established in 1971. It is a full member of the International Actuarial Association and the Groupe Consultatif. As of 2008, the Society has about 400 members, about 250 of them fully qualified.
AVÖ is one of the two main organizers of IME 2017.

TU Wien - Technische Universität Wien
With about 30.000 students and 4.800 employees the TU Wien is Austrians largest research and educational institution in engineering and technology. It has eight faculties: Architecture and Planning, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Mathematics and Geoinformation, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, and Physics.
