Julia Eisenberg

Julia Eisenberg is full professor at the research unit Financial and Actuarial Mathematics (FAM) at TU Wien - the largest technical university in Austria. She was holding an Elise Richter fellowship 2018-2022, granted by FWF (Austrian Science Fund) at the Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics, TU Wien. Her main research interests lie in the application of optimal control methods in insurance problems.
A more recent research direction is searching for alternative pension products with no guarantees. Julia was one of the main organisers of the 21st International Congress on Insurance: Mathematics and Economics in 2017 (IME2017) and the 2nd European Actuarial Conference (EAJ 2014).
