Th, 28.10.2004 Philippe Clement (TU Delft) R-Boundedness and Operator-valued Multipliers In this lecture we shall introduce the notion of R-bounded family of operators in a Banach space. Recently many new results in the theory of operator-valued multipliers (of Marcinkiewicz, Mihlin or Schur type) have been obtained by using this new notion of boundedness.
