Lectureship in Mathematics

This new post is part of an exciting strategic initiative by the School to expand the research and teaching activities of the Mathematics Department in the area of financial mathematics.

The successful candidate will maintain an active programme of research and will play a significant role in establishing a new MSc programme in the area of financial mathematics. The appointee will also contribute to the general work of the department, including the teaching of a range of mathematics courses.

Candidates should have an established track record of research at a level of international excellence in some area of financial mathematics. Ideally, the post will commence on or before 1 September 2007.
