GSM (Group Securities Markets = Equity & Bond) Trading & Structuring is responsible for market making of Austrian and Eastern European stocks and Government and Credit Bonds on different exchanges and in the OTC markets. The team also develops innovative investment solutions like structured products or certificates for all clients of Erste Group Bank AG and provides a market for these products.

Your Tasks:

• Learn about equity and Fixed Income trading, by working closely together with the traders
• Get to know how electronic trading, data analysis and algorithmic trading work
• Further develop your IT skills using different programming languages by analyzing market data and alternative data and support and educate your colleagues in data science/alternative data
• Be part of our team and welcomed to share and develop your improvement ideas with us

Your Background:

• Ongoing studies at University/University of Applied Sciences in Data Science or another field of study with a quantitative focus
• Interested in securities trading
• Teamplayer
• Accountable, responsible & highly motivated to acquire and share practical skills

Our Offer:

• Exciting and challenging full-time (38.5h/week) or part-time internship (19.25h/week) with a duration of 6 to 12 months and a possible start between January 2024 - March 2024
