e-FX - Junior Trading Analyst (all genders)

Group e-FX Trading is a team of FX traders and analysts, covering the FX flow business with special focus on the CEE currencies in Erste Group's region.Desks in Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Zagreb are responsible for market making and providing liquidity on various FX trading platforms.The strategic goal of Erste Group is to develop e-FX business within this unit which should ensure an improvement of distributed client pricing efficiency to enhance the revenue to cost ratio of this business area.

Your Tasks

• Assist traders in the daily business
• Liaise with other units in analysing the FX-Flow business
• Manage and monitor technical connectivity of trading systems
• Assess counterparty trading behavior
• Data Management and Analytics
• Assess FX market developments and adapt pricing to improve market share
• Develop hedging strategies/algorithms
• Co-operation with the various units of Group Treasury Markets
• Direct involvement in shaping the e-trading strategy of the Group

Your Background

• Finished University (TU or WU) or "Fachhochschule"
• Understanding of financial markets and Treasury products
• IT skills
  • MS Office
  • Coding language (R, Python)
• Experience in analytics/statistics
• Flexibility, self-initiative, resilience
• Act responsibly
• Fluent English
• German & CEE languages
