Student Job (f/m/x) - International Asset Liability Management (18-20 h/week)

The department International Asset Liability Management is responsible for steering the Asset & Liability Management (“ALM”) units of certain network units by supporting their business strategy and periodic planning and reporting, analyzing and influencing their performance and risk drivers, providing them support in their daily business and reviewing their systems and organizational infrastructure.

What you can expect:

• Get to know state-of-the-art ALM steering models and approaches
• You support international colleagues in there ALM daily tasks, such as:
  • analyzing the development of liquidity positions including treasury books and coordinating measures for managing liquidity ratios
  • interest rate management
  • monitoring, analyzing and comparing Fund Transfer Pricing systems by identifying the drivers and their impact
  • analyzing performance drivers, challenges and opportunities for the income and cost components of ALM segments of serviced network units and deriving strategies
  • ensuring a seamless cooperation between RBI Treasury and ALM units of serviced network units in order to align strategies and measures
• Learn more about agile working methods and see them in action

What you bring to the table:

• You are an active student with a focus on mathematics/statistics
• You have a solid knowledge of MS Excel, Access and SQL
• You are fluent in English
• You like to work in and contribute to a team
• You are curious and motivated and would like to look behind the scene of ALM in RBI
• You have fun working with big amounts of data and draw your own conclusions from the results of your analysis
