We, UNIQA Group, are seeking a

Life Actuary (f/m)

to join our Life Actuarial team within Group Actuarial & Risk Management at UNIQA Insurance Group AG. The position is located at our Group head office in Vienna, Austria.

The focus of this position comprises actuarial reporting on the Group level, performing validations of Solvency II calculations for UNIQA Austria and the support of actuaries within the Group. The position especially gives the rare opportunity within the Austrian market to contribute to the preparations for IFRS 17 from the Group side with involvement in the creation of Standards and processes, and the roll-out to UNIQA’s international subsidiaries. Smaller evaluation tasks for UNIQA Austria are as well part of the responsibility to keep in touch with operative aspects. The job offers a broad variety of actuarial disciplines as an ideal basis for further career development. Your main responsibilities

• Actuarial support within the Group (development of methods/tools/templates)
• Support, organization and presentation in workshops and meetings
• Writing/updating Group Standards
• Creation and development of Group actuarial reporting
• Supporting the implementation of IFRS 17 in all UNIQA subsidiaries
• Evaluations for UNIQA Austria in Prophet
• Asset liability management (validation of cash flows)
• Review of Market Consistent Embedded Value calculations
• Validation of Solvency II calculations
• Coordination of the annual model change process
• Group duration report and Quantitative Reporting Templates (QRT) creation

Your qualification

• Knowledge of life actuarial products, P&L and Solvency II specific understanding
• Experience with deterministic Prophet models and Prophet ALS is an asset
• Proficient knowledge of MS-Office, especially Excel; VBA programming is an asset
• Own initiative and responsible working style
• Superior analytical skills
• High motivation to learn, communication strength and team player mentality
• Active and result oriented working style and structured way of working
• Good communication style with internal and external contacts
• Fluent in English, good command of German is an asset
• Experience or knowledge of IFRS 17 is an asset

Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU (Austria)

Annual minimum wage according to collective agreement: EUR 41.523 - gross. We are prepared to exceed depending on qualification and experience.
