An der Technischen Universität Wien, Fakultät für Mathematik und Geoinformation, ist ab sofort für die Dauer von 6 Jahren eine Stelle für eine

vollbeschäftigte Assistentin

(40 Wochenstunden) zu besetzen.

Im Rahmen einer speziellen Maßnahme der Fakultät für Mathematik und Geoinformation zur Erhöhung des Frauenanteils beim wissenschaftlichen Personal wird eine vollbeschäftigte Assistentinnen-Stelle für das Fach "Mathematik" für eine Frau ausgeschrieben.

Das monatliche Mindestgehalt für diese Gehaltsgruppe beträgt derzeit EUR 3711,10 brutto (14 x jährlich).

Die Aufgaben der Stelleninhaberin umfassen Forschung und Lehre.

Die Zuordnung der erfolgreichen Bewerberin zu einem der drei mathematischen Institute für

• Analysis und Scientific Computing
• Diskrete Mathematik und Geometrie
• Stochastik und Wirtschaftsmathematik

Das Institut für Stochastik und Wirtschaftsmathematik vertritt insbesondere die Gebiete Ökonometrie, Statistik, Wahrscheinlichkeitstheorie sowie Finanz- und Versicherungsmathematik.

Aufnahmebedingungen: abgeschlossenes Doktoratsstudium der Fachrichtung Mathematik bzw. verwandtes Fach.

The Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation of TU Wien is offering a position for a

full-time post-doc assistant

(40 hours per week) with immediate start for the duration of 6 years.

As part of a special action of the Faculty of Mathematics and Geoinformation on increasing the proportion of women in its scientific staff, a full-time assistant for the subject "Mathematics" is advertised.

The minimum monthly gross salary for this position is currently 3711,10 Euro (14 x per year).

The tasks of the job holder include research and teaching.

The assignment of the successful candidate to one of the three mathematical institutes

• Institute of Analysis and Scientific Computing
• Institute of Discrete Mathematics and Geometry
• Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics

The Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics represents in particular the fields of econometrics, probability theory, statistics as well as financial and actuarial mathematics.

Requirements: Doctoral degree in the field of mathematics or a related subject.
