Junior Quantitative Analyst f/m – Full Time

We operate out of Austria and work closely together with partners, universities and scientific facilities around the globe.

One major field 42.cx is specialised is the construction of quantitative trading algorithms for financial market environments. As part of our trading team we are seeking to fill the role of Junior Quantitative Analyst f/m. You will be located in our headquarter in Linz, Austria and should bring the willingness to travel to our international partners in London and Monaco. Tasks will involve:

  • Provide quantitative research supporting the development and optimisation of investment strategies
  • Perform big data analysis and management
  • Producing clear and coherent technical documentation
  • Provide financial market insights

Your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • MSc (PhD would be a plus) in Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, Quantitative Finance or related fields
  • Exceptional quantitative, technical and analytical skills
  • Experience in handling large data sets and developing complex quantitative models
  • Strong programming abilities in R (especially working with statistical, econometric and visualisation packages). Programming skills in Python would be a plus
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English. German would be a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Monthly gross salary € 2.332 based on our collective bargaining agreement (for 38,5 hours/week) - additional payment according to skills and experience.
