UNIQA Group Actuarial and Risk Management Department offers a position in the Non-Life actuarial team. The primary objective of the open position is the evaluation and monitoring of contract-portfolios as well as the implementation of Group wide standards with a special focus on claims reserving and risk evaluation.

To support our young and dynamic team in various tasks, we are looking for an ambitious and service-oriented

Non-Life actuary (f/m)

with a funded knowledge in insurance mathematics/statistics.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Collaboration in Group projects regarding modeling techniques as a Group standard
• Collaboration and implementation of Group standards in the subsidiaries
• Further development of existing tools & templates (Excel, vba and SAS) with a special focus on IFRS accounting and Solvency 2
• Support in the modeling process
• Know-How transfer & training

Your qualification:

• Actuarial education (insurance mathematics, statistics)
• 2-3 years of experience in claims reserving and/or Solvency 2
• Knowledge of basic modeling techniques in Non-Life
• Excellent know-how of MS Office (incl. Excel-vba), SAS or R of advantage
• Knowledge of Reserving software preferred (e.g. ResQ)
• Fluent in English, basics in German, CE language of advantage
• Readiness to travel

The ability to understand and solve complex problems is an essential competence in our team. As we are implementing new methods and standards for the Group the job also allows the development of creative answers to various topics.

Annual minimum wage according to collective agreement: EUR 38.742,06 gross. We are prepared to exceed depending on qualification and experience.
