Student (f/m) for Banking Book Risk Management

The department Banking Book Risk Management in the division Enterprise wide Risk Management is responsible for the Group wide governance of market and liquidity risk in the banking book. This includes the identification, measurement and controlling of market and liquidity risk as well as setting, controlling and monitoring of Group wide risk limits. Furthermore it is responsible for group wide liquidity and market risk reporting and related projects. In this function the department assures regulatory compliance as well as effective internal risk reporting to senior management and operative Units.
... prepare and analyse market and liquidity risk reports for the senior management and regulatory purposes
... calculate market risk capital requirements
... calculate liquidity risk ratios
... support implementation of new regulatory requirements
... are currently enrolled at a University with a major in finance, IT or in a closely related area
... have solid knowledge in the area of relational databases including SQL or a strong IT background
... offer good understanding of object oriented programming e.g. VBA
... bring strong analytical and problem solving skills
... gained experience with basic reporting tools like pivot tables or OLAP cubes
... are interested in market and liquidity risk management, regulatory topics and in developing and maintaining reporting solutions in the financial industry
... are proactive and cooperative personality dedicated to innovation and result-orientation
... speak English business fluent, German or a Central European language is an additional asset
