To support the Non-Life team in the Group Actuarial Department based in Vienna we are looking for a

Non-Life actuary (f/m)

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Collaboration regarding valuation methods of actuarial liabilities of property and casualty in respect of Asset Liability Management and Solvency II
• Definition of cash-flow profiles
• Support and implementation of Group standards
• Setup of reporting- and monitoring systems on Group level
• Preparation of data and documents for steering committees

Qualification:

• Actuarial education (mathematics, statistics)
• Work experience appreciated
• Knowledge of accounting and balance sheet appreciated
• Knowledge in programming and applications (SAS, R, VBA) preferable
• Basic knowledge of insurance business of advantage
• Fluent in German and English
• Team player with service orientation and willingness for training and development
• Readiness to travel

The ability to understand and solve complex problems is an essential competence in our team. As we are implementing new methods and standards for the Group the job also allows to develope creative answers to various topics.
