PhD Student "Mathematical Optimization"

we are looking for a prospective PhD-student for our research project "Development of a computer-aided support for optimization in the electricity market". The project is funded by a programme (EFRE) of the European Union. Applicants are expected to have a background in Operations Research (mathematical optimization) and statistics, and in object-oriented programming (C++ or Java).
