Graduate Program. What to expect

As a participant in the Graduate Program, you will become part of a structured development program that combines practical experience with targeted training. You will work in various departments (both locally and globally possible) and projects, gaining valuable insights into the processes, challenges, and strategic goals of Allianz Austria and Central Europe. Throughout the program, you will collaborate closely with experienced professionals and receive mentoring from trusted colleagues.

Responsibilities. What you will do

  • Support in calculating claims reserves using actuarial methods and monitoring in the areas of IFRS17 and Solvency II for the Property/Casualty lines
  • Assist in calculating simulations within the Allianz Group’s internal solvency model (premium risk, reserve risk) for Property/Casualty
  • Prepare management reports on reserve status, including presentation and discussion with the board
  • Support the planning process by creating claims forecasts
  • Conduct actuarial analyses on products, tariffs, and the portfolio

Skills. What you bring

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
  • Experience in data management (DWH) is a plus, ideally with SAS and/or SQL knowledge
  • Proficiency in MS Office and a programming language (e.g., VBA, R, Python)
  • Ability and willingness to communicate and present results (German and English, both at C1 level)
  • Interest in new technologies
