Tell us about your strengths and apply as a Natural Catastrophes Data Scientist (f/m/d)

What to expect:

  • Apply data science and machine learning in UNIQA’s risk assessments and to improve data quality.
  • Automate processes and reporting by programming with state-of-the-art software.
  • Develop and deploy Research & Development projects into live operational systems Group-wide.
  • Engage in the topic of natural catastrophe risks and modelling.
  • Validate, calibrate, and build new models for natural catastrophe risks, as well as refine existing models.
  • Attend seminars and conferences to stay current with the latest research and market developments in catastrophe management.
  • Work in a vibrant and innovative environment.

We expect:

  • You have a master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics or any other quantitative study
  • You enjoy coding and are proficient in at least one of these languages: Python, R, SQL
  • You speak English fluently with excellent language skills
  • You’re all about teamwork, motivation, and continuous learning
  • You’ve got German skills? Even better!
