Junior Quantitative Analyst (f/m/x)

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Quantitative Analyst to join our Data & Solutions team within the Capital Markets division. The successful candidate will support the team in developing quantitative models, analyzing market data, and providing insights to drive trading and investment decisions.

#full-time (38.5h / week) - #viennaoffice (1030) - #homeoffice possible

Your role at RBI

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quantitative models for pricing, risk management, and trading strategies.
  • Develop and improve pricing libraries for various financial instruments.
  • Support senior analysts and traders with data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Conduct back-testing and performance evaluation of pricing engines and trading strategies.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in financial markets and quantitative finance.

Your core competencies

  • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB
  • Knowledge of financial instruments and capital markets
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Nice to have

  • SQL-Knowledge
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts
  • Know-how in software development
