As an active Enterprise and Deeptech investor, with investments incl. Adverity, Conundrum, Stateless, and Bitmovin, among others, we are looking to expand our Deeptech team and are hiring a TECHNOLOGY INVESTMENT ANALYST based in Vienna! This 6-month full-time internship program is a unique opportunity to gain first-hand insights into early stage Venture Capital and the broader startup ecosystem while acquiring relevant skills and experience.

Your Responsibilities

• Learn the fundamentals of early stage venture capital investing
• Gain in depth understanding of the Deeptech landscape and develop theses in the space
• Be an integral part of our investment team, supporting Partners, Principals and Associates in all aspects of their work
• Carry out deep dive research in potential areas of opportunity within Deeptech
• Screen, analyze and track startups potentially relevant for our investment strategy
• Provide support on due diligence efforts
• Monitor and add value to our existing portfolio companies in operational, strategic and fundraising matters

Requirements

Your Qualifications

• You hold a technical degree (e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, computational biology or a related technical field)
• You have a demonstrable broad interest in the latest technological developments
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is a plus but NOT mandatory
• First relevant work experience at a technology or consulting company. Startup or VC experience is very welcome
