Retail Risk Data Analyst (f/m/d)

Your tasks:

  • Contributes to the design and implementation of a consolidated management reporting system as a basis for portfolio management and educated decisions by
  • setting KPIs and related triggers together with the key stakeholders
  • designing and developing the reporting format (i.e. frequency, segmentation, design of graphs, governance, distribution, functionalities for end-users)
  • Examining and testing internal and external datasets for integrity, accuracy, and quality
  • Ensure the data management processes follow the best industry standards and are regulatory compliant
  • Prepares statistical analysis and reports on Retail Risk relevant KPIs
  • Follows target KPIs' realization and pro-actively performs deep dive analysis in case triggers are hit
  • Investigates retail portfolio trends and issues
  • Performs analytics for retail risk management and participates in strategy setting
  • Participates in the product development process and ensures that risks are identified, mitigated, measured and controlled
  • Contributes to the preparation models related to credit's life end to end; decision trees, application, behavioral, collection models
  • Supports the coordination with third party vendors such as Credit Bureaus

Personal and professional competencies:

  • Background in quantitative and/or finance disciplines (mathematics, statistics, or economics with a quantitative focus on banking and finance)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data-related roles within a bank or financial institution, emphasizing credit risk management, portfolio management, and reporting
  • Proficiency in SQL and/or Python is essential
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and going the extra mile
  • Knowledge and experience in credit risk model development is a plus
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • High commitment, initiative, excellent analytical skills, efficiency, and systematic approach
  • Fluent in English

Minimum gross wage in accordance with the collective agreement if the minimum requirements are met: EUR 3.110,77 /month with willingness to overpay depending on professional experience and training.
