The University of Klagenfurt announces the following position:
PreDoc Scientist or PostDoc Assistant (f/m), non-tenure track
Institute for Statistics
At the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Institute for Statistics, working group Stochastic Processes. This is a full-time position, either limited to 4 years, or limited to 6 years non-tenure track if the applicant holds a relevant doctoral degree (based on Uni-KV: B1 or B1 lit.b; jobs.aau.at/en/faq/#kv). The minimum monthly gross salary (14 times per year) for this position is € 2.864,50 (B1) respectively € 3.803,90 (B1 lit.b) and can increase to €3.396 (B1 lit.a) respectively to € 4,214.50 (B1 lit.c) maximum in accordance with the provisions of the collective agreement in the case of consideration of previous occupational experience. Starting date is negotiable, but preferably as soon as possible.

The position is advertised without the option of negotiating a qualification agreement.

For the PostDoc position: academic curriculum vitae; a list of publications; a list of talks; research statement (max. 1 page); contact details of a University Professor who is willing to provide a letter of reference, PhD thesis. If an applicant has not received the doctoral degree by November 13, 2019 the applicant should provide a statement on how he or she will be able to finish the PhD until April 30, 2020.
For the PreDoc position: curriculum vitae; statement of possible research interests (max. 0,5 page); recommendation letter by the Master’s thesis advisor, Master’s thesis. If an applicant has not received the master’s degree by November 13, 2019 the applicant should provide a statement on how he or she will be able to finish the Master’s until April 30, 2020.
Travel and accommodation costs incurred during the application process will not be refunded.
