Workshop on Mathematical Finance

Strobl and Vienna, Austria,
September 13-18, 1999

The workshop will take place from September 13-15 (arrival day: Sunday, September 12) in Strobl and from September 16-18 in Vienna. Our intention is to focus in the first half of the workshop rather on mathematical aspects and in the second half rather on the applications of Mathematical Finance.

Strobl is a nice village at the Wolfgangsee, a lake some 30 km from Salzburg. There, the workshop will take place from Monday, September 13, morning, to Wednesday, September 15, noon. On Wednesday afternoon, transportation will be provided from Strobl to Vienna, where the workshop will continue from Thursday, September 16, morning, to Saturday, September 18, noon.

The workshop is supported by the Federal Ministry of Science and Transport and by the Austrian Science Foundation (FWF) under grant SFB#10 ('Adaptive Information Systems and Modelling in Economics and Management Science').

Registration fees

Full conference (Strobl and Vienna):  ATS 1500    (ATS 500 for students)
One part (either Strobl or Vienna) :  ATS  900    (ATS 300 for students)

Transportation

Transportation from Vienna airport to Strobl (on September 12) and from Strobl to Vienna (on September 15) can be provided. Please note: In case you want to go by bus you have announce this at sandra@fam.tuwien.ac.at or by fax to +43-1 58801-910511 (until July 31).

Shuttle-busses:
   Sept. 12, 15:00   from  Vienna, city(*)   to  Strobl
   Sept. 12, 15:30   from  Vienna, airport   to  Strobl
   Sept. 15, 14:00   from  Strobl            to  Vienna

(*) Vienna, city means the City Air Terminal at Hotel Hilton, near the center of Vienna.
